A demon to join Decemberists tour
Looking at Willamette Week's online site just now, I saw an article about how the violinist Lisa Molinaro of Talkdemonic (great local band, whom I saw again this past April) will be joining The Decemberists on tour for their upcoming album The Crane Wife. Pretty cool, and go Lisa!

Yes, Lisa told me that as I was getting my coffee from her the other day. I missed her and Kevin play and I misssed the Minders play last Thursday for the Portland Music Fest. Bummer, but I know they’ll all play again soon.

miranda: so cool though, I LOVE The Decemberists, and am excited about the new album, and now that Lisa will be touring with ‘em I’ll have to go see ‘em (providing she’s touring with ‘em the next time they play in town).
