Weekend recap

Had a fairly busy weekend again. On Saturday, Ghost Dog and I went over to Snooks house for a small BBQ/party (K joined later after her full day of class). On the way we swung by Belmont Station to pick up some import beers… I picked up two new English beers I hadn't had before (and still haven't). Had a great time chillin' in Master Snooks' yard.

On Sunday we were invited to our friends Ty & Aymie's house for a BBQ to meet some of Aymie's family visiting from South Africa. K & I had a great time. At about dusk we headed home to watch the first disc of Lost, season 2 (which Snooks had lent us) … which we did, all 4 episodes back to back (because you can't watch just one, hehe).

It ate my comment again. I fed in the wrong code, it refreshed, and half of my comment was replaced with that slash. Hmf.

As I was saying, please remind me of what that tasty beer was, from Saturday. It had “blue” in the name.

Not that I’ll be having any beer this week. No, sir.

Snooks: yeah, ok, i need to spend some time (perhaps tonight) tweaking the image verification thingy. Though it only seems to happen to you and Ghost Dog. 🙂 I do want to move the ‘New ID’ button though, that’s exactly where people want to click submit (bottom-right).

The beer was Bluebird Bitter from Coniston Brewing Co. http://conistonbrewery.com/ I’ve tried the Bluebird XB (more hoppy if memory serves), but I don’t think I’ve tried the Old Man Ale.

Well, between Snooks and I, we’re like half your readership! 🙂

Dang, I want to go back to Belmont Station or John’s and get more different yummy beers already. Oh well, I have Okto and Moose Drool in the fridge, so I can hold on a bit.

GD: very true. 🙂 I’ll see if I can’t tweak the layout tonight… if not, this weekend. Also, funny, I picked up some Okto too, figured I’d give it a shot.
