Just found a great scrolling mini-site all about the Great Barrier Reef (from The Guardian). It covers it’s formation, exploration, and current (sad) struggles to survive. It’s a pretty big site with animated backgrounds, audio, etc, but worth a look. Both for it’s visual design and use of modern web techniques to tell a story, but also for the story itself.
